Good strong wooden handle, sharp edge
The head is too small for working the whole garden and is too light for cutting out grass edges effectively but is about perfect for cutting out old plants and turning soil to replant small sections of the garden. 4 stars because mine measured 4-3/4 wide not 5 inches and the edge chipped hitting the 1/2″ limerock stones we were removing during cultivation.
