Description
Farmers and Ranchers love this hoe for roughing. The head measures 5½” x 6½” (W x H) and is sharp on 3 sides. (Note: 60″ Ash handle hoe weighs 3¾ lbs — 60″ Fiberglass handle hoe weighs 4¼ lbs.) 54″ handles will be substituted once 60″ models run out, until supplier issue is resolved. We apologize for this inconvenience.

I bought this to dig trenches for landscape drain lines, and I just can’t say enough good things about it. It moves soil very efficiently and it makes quick work of buried roots. I’ve had hatchets that didn’t cut this well. I’m only about 5’10”, but the long reach on the 60” handle is really convenient.

I bought this 55F Rogue Hoe mostly to weed around nut trees and bushes, and other projects. After working with it, I realized that every other hoe I’d ever worked with was just a toy. This tool’s sharpness and extra weight make it the most ergonomically efficient hand tool I can remember using. And great customer service from the company too.

I bought this on the recommendation of a friend and it’s been my “go to” tool for moving dirt ever since. It’s like having a mini-bulldozer in my hands. Love the 60″ handle! Well worth the price.

I saw this tool offered by a company in Junction, TX just today, and realized I had it already. Not sure where I purchased it, but sure enough it surely would have been the Made in USA label and basic utility that made it solid sale at the time. This is a great tool for grubbing invasive plants, basic high volume vegetable garden cultivating, and lopping small trees off at ground level. I’ve got a 5 lb cutting mattock with a 33″ inch handle that is a bomber tool too, but not the really in the same league. Can’t give this one a 5, as I have not checked out any of the other tools to compare it to.
